Given that we now know that Trump's name was splattered throughout the FBI's and DOJ's records in the Epstein files, what's the next step?
There isn't a soul on earth who could believe that Trump's DOJ and FBI could convey the appearance of a fair and impartial review of those files to propose a totally appropriate and apolitical recommendation on next steps. That being said, Congress and the American people would expect that a fair and apolitical independent Special Counsel or Special Prosecutor be appointed to oversee this endeavor.
And this is where the case goes south. Given Trump's and Bondi's inability to have Alina Habba, Trump's totally incompetent personal lawyer, bozo and die-hard Trump sycophant confirmed as the U.S. Attorney for the State of New Jersey, I suspect that they will extort and threaten everyone in their path to accede to her or another Trump lackey's appointment to this position, where they will totally white-wash Trump regardless of the evidence.
While DOJ policy strictly prohibits the indictment of a sitting President, and since it is highly unlikely that even Trump's obsequious Justices on the Supreme Court would rule that a sitting President could pardon himself, any criminal repercussions would most likely be deferred until the end of his term.
There are, of course, civil consequence if women move to nullify their "Catch and Kill" agreements with Trump on the grounds that those agreements were in violation of the public interest.
All of this, of course, is very problematic, but as the word spreads about how often Trump's name appears throughout Epstein's records, Trump and Bondi will be on the hot seat, as will members of Congress whose constituencies will be calling for fair and impartial action to be taken, including full disclosures.
After all, as the saying goes, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant."

As of now, EVERY Democrat in Congress, and 99% of Democrats in state legislatures, fully supports the medical quackery of "gender affirming care" which results in the mutilation of well over 1000 underage girls each and every year in this great country of ours, and the sterilization of many thousands more underage boys and girls. It is an ongoing crime against humanity, and the Democrats in office are fully complicit.
Which is why I, a registered Democrat for 50 years, now vote straight Republican.
Even when clear evidence is revealed that DJT raped young girls, the base won't care. In fact, they will secretly love it, and find it quite arousing. He's the avatar for everything they wish they could do but can't. He says whatever and does whatever he wants without consequence. He doesn't pay his bills. He doesn't pay taxes. He bullies. He lives a life of gluttony. "Grab em by the Pussy?" -- male Trump voters called it a boss move. Female Trump voters said, "finally, a man who takes charge". Which brings us to Age of Consent laws. Look at which states where they're lowest. And look which religions advocate for child brides and patriarchal structures where women are whores and breeders only. No MAGA voter will admit this in person, but privately they are rubbing it out profusely with every new revelation, jealous of yet another thing Trump can do, but they can't... just yet.
The evidence that the CIA and others in the government knew that the allegations that Trump colluded with Russia were fabricated is mounting. Read it. It says what it says, no matter how much you hate Trump.
