Donald Trump Is Guilty As Hell
The latest tranche of Epstein emails indicating Donald Trump's involvement in sexual abuse are damning beyond belief.

WASHINGTON, DC – As encouraged as I am about the possibility that Donald Trump will finally be held accountable for his horrifying linkage to Jeffrey Epstein, I’m increasingly frustrated by the fact that he hasn’t been ridden out of town on a rail for it, O Brother Where Art Thou? style.
The latest tranche of Epstein emails released by the Democrats on the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee further implicated Donald for having, at the very least, known about what Epstein was doing. One email indicated that he spent “hours” with one of Epstein’s victims at Epstein’s house. In another email, Epstein wrote, “I have met some very bad people. None as bad as Trump. Not one decent cell in his body.” When the devil himself thinks you’re a shitty garbage person… believe him.
While the news itself is deeply disturbing, the drip-drip of the revelations is encouraging. The fact that this is happening due to MAGA Republican Oversight chair Jim Comer’s inexplicable attention to the matter is both positive and baffling. I’m still curious as to why Comer, who comports himself as an ally of the president, is keeping the Epstein story alive in the news, while his cohorts in the White House are desperate to bury it. One day I hope we get clarification on exactly why Comer is stabbing his guy in the back.
All that said, the copious amount of evidence that was already on the table should’ve been enough to tar and feather Donald.
To me, it all comes back to that NBC News video footage of Donald partying with Epstein at Mar-a-lago, circa 1992. Very clearly, Donald and Epstein were good friends. Very clearly, there were many women in the room and Donald is shown groping their butts and pulling them close to his misshapen body. (Don’t get me started on his bizarrely painted-on eyebrows.)
But what always strikes me about the footage is that I’ve never seen Donald happier than he appears while joking and dancing with a pedophile sex trafficker – “white man overbite” and all. I challenge you to find a video in which Donald looks as happy as that. I’ll save you the time: it doesn’t exist. And why exactly was he so happy in the presence of Epstein? Take a guess.
Furthermore, last July, Donald admitted that Epstein was actively stealing girls from his Mar-a-lago staff, including the late Virginia Giuffre, who was 16-years-old when she worked in the massage parlor (barf!) at Donald’s Palm Beach resort and was subsequently groomed by Ghislaine Maxwell. This suggests Mar-a-lago was a wholesale outlet for Epstein’s operation, scouting girls for him to victimize, and it absolutely confirms that Donald knew about what Epstein was doing and said nothing about it.
Hiding in plain sight is the fact that Donald and everyone surrounding him are actively trying to block, discredit, and cover up the ongoing investigation. They’re so determined to flush the story that they kept the government shut down for more than a month, while preventing a crucial House member-elect from being sworn in because she pledged to sign the discharge petition forcing a vote to release all of the Epstein documents.
In the face of emails vetted and released by, again, the MAGA-controlled Oversight Committee, the White House continued to call the Epstein story a “Democrat hoax.” Press secretary and shameless liar Karoline Leavitt was obviously parrotting talking points issued by Donald himself.
Naturally, the key to understanding Donald’s connection to Epstein is revealed in the one-word question: “Why?” Why is he and his entire administration, along with much of the MAGA entertainment complex, so preoccupied with changing the subject or outright calling the Epstein files a hoax? The automatic assumption should be: guilt.
The subsequent question has to be: What is he hiding? If Epstein’s clients were all Democrats and liberal celebrities, why wouldn’t Donald simply allow his enemies to be crucified? He’s no stranger to such a thing, so there’s no reason for him to shield his political enemies from their ostensible linkage to pedophilia and rape.
If we know anything about how Donald thinks, we know that he’s all about himself – he’s all about self preservation. And he’ll do everything within the grasp of his stumpy little fingers to exonerate himself from all scandals. He’ll lie, he’ll cheat, he’ll attack, he’ll sue, he’ll appeal to the Supreme Court. So, if in fact he’s innocent and the files will prove it, why won’t he order the Department of Justice and his allies on the Hill to dump all the documents, exculpating him and deflecting attention to the other Epstein clients? The answer to that question is plain as day: because he’s guilty and the files will prove it.
I can’t believe we have to make this case. Given the reality that Donald Trump is the most obvious criminal con-man to ever occupy public office, there’s no reason whatsoever to give him the benefit of the doubt. The evidence we know about should be enough to end his political career and, at the very least, the overblown honeymoon he continues to receive from the news media and corporations.

I’m With Kamala
Why I’ve changed my mind about Joe Biden—and Kamala Harris.
by Ben Cohen
How fast a year goes by. Which is odd given that a week in Trumpworld feels like an eternity. But as the parent of any toddler will tell you, the days are long but the years are fast.
I remember November 5th 2024 clearly. I woke up feeling confident that MAGAworld was going to collapse. Kamala had the money, I believed the polls were overcorrecting in favor of Trump, and the word was that his campaign had basically imploded in the final weeks of the contest.
I was horribly wrong, and utterly gutted as the results trickled in and it became clear Trump was headed for a resounding victory. In the hours after the election, a wrote an article for The Banter title “The Bad Guy Won”. It was a heartbreaking piece to write and like most normal people, I was pretty glum in the days and weeks after.
I didn’t think it was useful to tear Joe Biden and Kamala Harris down for losing to Trump. The US had been subjected to one of the most far reaching, truly evil propaganda campaigns by Elon Musk, the Trump 2024 team, and the right wing media I’d ever seen.
But time has passed and the painful autopsy of what went wrong has been a necessary medicine for Democrats…
