If I were to tell you that an extensive network of Islamic extremists was using a highly secure messenger app to discuss terrorist attacks, you would probably take notice. If I were to tell you that this network of Islamic extremists was openly talking about how glorious it is to kill Americans and urging others to go on killing sprees, you would probably be deeply concerned. If I were to tell you that this network of Islamic extremists was sharing information about how to best cripple American infrastructure and build homemade weapons, you would no doubt be extremely worried.

If I were to tell you that this network of Islamic extremists was operating on American soil as we speak and gearing up for mass murder and widespread destruction, you would be demanding to know why this isn't the largest news story in the nation right now.
