Cry Me a River, Megyn
Megyn Kelly has had enough of Trump's crazy rhetoric. Why now?
Megyn Kelly has finally had enough of Donald Trump — or at least that’s what she wants you to believe. After years of defending, rationalizing, and normalizing behavior that would have ended any other political career, she’s suddenly outraged over a single social media post. And not just mildly critical — genuinely angry, drawing a moral line, insisting this is beyond the pale. The problem isn’t that she’s wrong about Trump’s post. It’s that this is where she’s chosen to take a stand.
In this video, we break down Kelly’s reaction and explain why it isn’t a principled shift, but something far more predictable: a calculated move from someone who can see the direction the winds are blowing. Check it out here:

At the height of MTV as a music channel. PBS aired a documentary called "The Merchants of Cool", all about how market research drove marketing strategies for MTV, Sprite, and Interscope Records. The head of market research for MTV, who kid you not was granted permission by parents into the bedrooms of teenagers to "hang with them all day" explains to the camera -- the goal isn't to figure out what kids want to buy, so we can make those things and sell them. It's to figure out their mindsets, what drives behavior, so we can sell them what we want to sell them. This is Megyn Kelly to a tee. The product she's selling is herself as "the voice of reason" and "the voice of outrage". She sells clicks, likes, and comments. She keeps a pulse at where the herd is and is sure to stay one step ahead so it looks like she's leading the charge when she's actually just sprinting ahead of where they were already going. The collective MAGA media echo chamber does a great job steering the herd for the most part, but eventually the sheep near the back realize they're heading to slaughter and begin to slow down (be it a bit too late).
