Donald’s Kleptocracy Has Arrived
We are witnessing a Putin style takeover of America, and it starts with Elon Musk accessing your financial data.
by Bob Cesca
WASHINGTON, DC – In case you’re wondering why Elon Musk and his goon squad of toddlers have wormed their way into the computer payment systems of the Treasury Department, Social Security and Medicare, and other departments, one of the many correct answers is that he’s data mining.
Data mining is the centerpiece of the social media business model. The various platforms aren’t available to be convenient, benevolent public services for connecting us with friends and for posting funny cat videos. That’s all just a front for something far more dubious.
Social media is all about gathering and selling as much of your data as possible, including analyses of your likes and dislikes – personality profiles that can be exploited for profit, much to the detriment of your privacy. Remember what Edward Snowden exposed about NSA back in 2013? The invasion of your privacy by social media platforms is far, far worse. TikTok, in particular, shares your not-so-private data with the Chinese government, and without the sanction of a panel of judges like we have here.
So, yes, Elon Musk is (allegedly) data mining right now, but in addition to his social media platform, X, he could be mining taxpayer data from the federal government itself, and it includes your Social Security number, your bank information, your tax returns, and more.
But that’s not all. There’s another form of mining we’ve heard about before.
It’s possible he’s preparing to mine your money, too – not just from the national treasury, composed of our taxpayer contributions, but also directly from your bank account. To be clear: this is just a theory, but it’s an educated one. Stick with me on this.
One thing we know for sure is that both Donald Trump and Elon Musk are loyal to Vladimir Putin. It’s fair to say Donald has always endeavored to be the American equivalent to his Kremlin role model. And we know that Putin and his oligarchs have stolen trillions from the Russian people. It’s called kleptocracy: “government by those who seek status and personal gain at the expense of the governed.”
How do we know this? Sir William Browder, among others, told us. You might recall the name Bill Browder from his congressional testimony about Russian collusion in the 2016 election. Not only did he testify about Putin’s kleptocracy – the Russian despot’s process of enriching himself by pure theft and extortion – but Browder also detailed Putin’s corruption in an essay for the Daily Mail last month. In particular:
[Putin] granted the oligarchs their freedom and his protection, in exchange for 50 per cent of their wealth. By that single edict, he made himself phenomenally rich, and forced all the criminals in Russia to work for him. And then he embarked on a corruption frenzy that makes the activities of Idi Amin, Robert Mugabe or Colonel Gaddafi look like petty theft.
It gets worse.
Putin was not only taking 50 per cent of the oligarchs’ income. He looted the state coffers, stealing money from the military, from income tax, from education and healthcare budgets, from infrastructure projects and all the public services that keep a country running.
He also took revenge on anyone who had dared try to expose his methods – such as Litvinenko, who was poisoned in a London hotel.
You might recall that Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned in 2006 using polonium.
The point is that Donald’s hero, Putin, built his massive wealth in part by stealing it directly from the Russian people, while also extorting a big chunk of it from his oligarch frenemies.
This should all sound eerily familiar as we read in shocked horror about how Elon has infiltrated his way into government payment systems. We also learned that Elon’s barely legal minions have write-access to government source code. Remember the plot of both Superman III and Office Space where the characters wrote computer code that skimmed money from business accounts and transferred it into their own pockets? What if similar code is being implemented to feed off the Social Security and Medicare trust funds, or worse?
Again, I don’t have any evidence that this is what Elon and Donald are up to, but it’s fair to speculate given their obvious fealty to- and admiration of Putin. I mean, does anyone seriously believe Donald in particular would refuse a means of enriching himself? Last time, he profited off the Secret Service by forcing agents to stay at his janky resorts, charging American taxpayers for the privilege. Now, he’s just expanding that process via his co-president Elon.
He also thinks he’s invincible, endowed with immunity by his Supreme Court enablers. And does anyone seriously believe Donald and Elon wouldn’t use fear or even imprisonment to keep industrious journalists, investigators, or even members of Congress from digging into what they’re up to? Of course they would – they already are. Not only that, but government inspectors general, who would normally weed out illegal activity, have been fired.
At the very least, we should all demand to know why they’re accessing our private information, with zero oversight, and why Elon is adding code to the payment systems. And we should never accept their flimsy, Orwellian “weeding out waste, fraud, and abuse” excuse. The depths to which they’re allegedly digging isn’t necessary for doing that. It all just screams out: theft, theft, theft.
We’re not even a month into this dictatorship and there are already significant reasons to activate. There are levers of accountability at our disposal. Call your members of Congress at their home offices, call your state attorneys general, demand they file lawsuits to block this emerging American kleptocracy. Demand that Elon Musk and DOGE are banned from government computer systems. Demand that our Democratic senators block all legislation and cabinet confirmations until this is stopped. At the very least, use your social media platforms to inform your non-political friends that their personal information and perhaps their money are at risk.
This is a red alert. Now’s the time. Tomorrow might be too late.
