Don't Sleep On Pete Buttigieg. He Could Be The Perfect Antidote To Trump.

Pete Buttigieg has qualities other Democrats don't have when it comes to facing off against Donald Trump.

Let me preface this piece by stating the obvious: every Democratic candidate running for President in 2020 is infinitely more qualified to hold office than the current president. From the gaffe prone Joe Biden to the pro Russian Tulsi Gabbard, the Democrats are not perfect. But they are not insane either, and every responsible American has a duty to vote for whomever wins the Democratic primary next year.

That being said, there is one candidate currently surging in the polls who would, I believe, be better equipped to beat Trump in 2020, and actually make a significant difference while in office. And that is Pete Buttigieg, the mayor from Indiana who is currently in second place in Iowa, the first state to vote in the Democratic presidential primaries.

The top tier Democrats — Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, and Bernie Sanders all have the ability to beat Trump on paper. The polling is clear about that, and Democrats should go into 2020 confident of victory should any of the…
