God Save The Queen
Now that Donald Trump has been granted a full state visit to the UK and a reception with the Queen, I have turned into a full blooded Royalist.

As a Brit, I must confess to having very little interest in the monarchy. Given the Royal Family has close to no political influence in Great Britain, I have never felt the need to pay them much attention. In my opinion, they have far too much money, own land they should hand over to the public, and are only good for attracting tourists and raising money for charity.
However, now that Donald Trump has been granted a full state visit to the UK and a reception with the Queen, I have turned into a full blooded Royalist.
I speak for almost all Brits here when I say that the photos of Donald and Melania Trump hanging out with the Queen are nauseating beyond belief. A man who calls women "pigs”, “dogs” and “slobs” does not get to swan around with Elizabeth II. A man who was caught on tape bragging about grabbing women “by the pussy” does not get to visit Buckingham Palace and stay for dinner. A man who almost certainly sexually assaulted multiple women, is openly racist, and dodged military service due to “bone spurs” should not be given the red carpet treatment by a beloved family that refused to leave London during World War II and sent numerous members to fight on the front lines. But there he is, a revolting conman playing King of the World while the Royal Family is duty bound to entertain his grotesque fantasies.
As he landed in the UK, Trump called the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, who correctly compared him to a fascist, a “stone cold loser”. He also been tweeting about the “Fake News” looking for negative stories to write about his visit, and is reportedly aiming to help destroy the National Health Service in a post-Brexit deal with the UK that would give US corporations access to the UK’s healthcare market.
Trump was not welcomed in the UK by the public. 79% of Brits do not like him, and many of them are protesting his visit loudly. He was welcomed by a political party on the brink of collapse that figured it couldn’t get any worse. His time in the UK is being managed carefully so that his ego is not damaged by the almighty protests in London, and he will be treated like the fool he is by government officials who know he isn’t capable of discussing policy or negotiating meaningful deals. It is a PR event Trump will use to bolster his image of legitimacy around the world — a powerful leader having tea with the Queen of England. And had the UK government shown any backbone or sense of self respect, it would never have happened.
As leader of the Liberal Democrats Vince Cable wrote in the Financial Times before Trump’s visit:
President Trump will not be the first or last nasty piece of work to enjoy a state visit, but he is among the most dangerous.
His attitudes to women and to race are abhorrent. And his crude protectionism has placed the world on the brink of trade war between the US and China, with an exposed Brexit Britain stuck in the crossfire. No amount of pomp, circumstance and royal regalia can disguise the fact that Mr Trump poses a real risk to the world, and to Britain.
Unfortunately for Her Majesty, she is paying the price for the Conservative government’s cowardice. So yes, God Save The Queen. She needs all the bloody help she can get.

Our Mourning For A Lost Pregnancy And Republican Attempts To Lie About It
Republicans are trying their hand at social engineering via the law, something they say doesn't work.

by Justin Rosario
Republicans are liars. I know this is not exactly news but Tuesday's Supreme Court ruling is particularly revealing. While the five extremists on the Court did not take the opportunity to gut Roe v. Wade earlier this week…
