Given the huge spike in antisemitism and astonishing statistic that half of Americans don’t know 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust, Justin and Ben talk what it means to be Jewish in America today. They discuss their respective Jewish upbringings, what it means to be of mixed ancestry (being too Jewish or not Jewish enough), not being regarded as a “real minority” by others, and their experiences of anti-semitism. Ben also reveals the threats he has received over the years, and a what some of his family members have been subjected to. This is an incredibly important topic and we’d love to hear from members on their own experiences of racism/antisemitism/discrimination.
