Stop The Lies About Kilmar Abrego Garcia
Garcia is not a gang member and has not been charged with any crimes. The Trump administration deported him to an El Salvadorian prison with no way back.

WASHINGTON, DC – Despite our efforts on social media and elsewhere to inject reality and facts into the political discourse, Republican lies – and especially Donald Trump’s lies – tend to seep their way into the minds of Americans who ought to know better.
For example, last year during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Donald repeatedly lied that President Biden used FEMA disaster relief funds to build housing for migrants. In an October Harris poll, two-thirds of voters believed this nonsense – a number which ostensibly includes many Democratic voters. Not only was this a whopper lie, but it turns out that during his first term, Donald took $155 million in FEMA disaster relief funds to pay for housing migrant children in cages.
It happens all the time, which is one of the reasons why we all need to continuously correct the record about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was illegally deported to an El Salvadoran gulag by the now-fascist U.S. government.
Setting aside for a moment the shocking reality that scores of immigrants have been extra-judicially rendered to the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) torture prison without constitutional due process, the Trump administration continues to relentlessly lie about and publicly defame Garcia.
