The Arizona Abortion Ban Is 100 Percent About Donald Trump
No matter what kind of lies vomit from his head hole, he’s absolutely the centerpiece in this Arizona debacle.

WASHINGTON, DC – By now you’re probably aware of the Arizona Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate an archaic 1864 law criminalizing abortion, with the life of the mother as the token exception.
The ruling supersedes the 15-week ban passed by former Republican governor Doug Ducey in 2022. As for the exception I mentioned, it’s essentially irrelevant since very few if any doctors will perform a life saving abortion given the intimidating and potentially catastrophic legal scrutiny they’d face if they did, even acting entirely within the bounds of law. And that’s the entire point. This is a complete ban without exceptions, carrying criminal penalties if violated.
Then, on Wednesday, Republicans in the state legislature blocked a Democratic effort to overturn the law, inextricably linking the law to the MAGA party.
It’s a tragic week for women in the state, not to mention doctors – each dragged back to the middle 19th Century. But it wasn’t just the Arizona court and the Republican legislature that tethered this horrendous ruling to the Republican Party.
The truth is: this is 100 percent about Donald Trump.
The news of the state supreme court’s ruling landed the day after Trump released one of his video rants, often recorded in a darkened room, in which he desperately attempted to disguise his actual position on the issue. Trump droned on and on, sounding like a lifeless AI version of himself, explaining how IVF procedures should remain legal – despite its routine destruction of thousands of “babies” every year – and how this is an issue that should be left up to the states. He added that he was responsible for overturning Roe v Wade, lying about how nobody supported the landmark Supreme Court ruling.
In addition to being supported by supermajorities of Americans, CNN reported:
“Any claim that all legal scholars wanted Roe overturned is mind-numbingly false,” Rutgers Law School professor Kimberly Mutcherson, a legal scholar who supported the preservation of Roe, said Monday.
“Donald Trump’s claim is flatly incorrect,” said another legal scholar who did not want Roe overturned, Maya Manian, an American University law professor and faculty director of the university’s Health Law and Policy Program.
So, how is Trump linked to the Arizona law that was passed 158 years before the Dobbs decision? Chief Justice John Lopez wrote:
"Absent the federal constitutional abortion right, and because [the 15-week abortion ban] does not independently authorize abortion, there is no provision in federal or state law prohibiting [the 1864 abortion ban's] operation. Accordingly, [the 1864 ban] is now enforceable."
In other words, the absence of Roe is directly linked to the decision to reinstate the 1864 law. And who’s responsible for overturning Roe? Trump, who continues to accept 100 percent credit for doing so. Trump appointed Justices Gorsuch, Barrett, and Kavanaugh who, despite their testimony to the Senate, voted to overturn Roe. The overturning of Roe provided a smooth runway for the Arizona Supreme Court to reinstate the abortion ban.
This draconian ruling is what Trump’s idea of “leaving it up to the states” actually means. It means allowing state level Republicans to criminalize girls, rape victims, incest victims, adult women, and their doctors.
Don’t let him get away with this, and don’t let the political press get away with aiding Trump’s bullshit “moderation” scam.
For now, this isn’t about policy for Trump and the party he’s commandeered, it’s about politics. It’s about lying his way to inauguration, and then it’s full steam ahead to a national ban, which Project 2025 calls for. On the immigration issue, Trump blocked his party’s own border security bill because he wanted the issue for the campaign – the alleged border emergency be damned. Pure politics. He’s attempting to win back some wayward voters, probably because he saw some scary internal polling, by framing himself as moderate even though he’s not in any way. Yet no matter what kind of lies vomit from his head hole, he’s absolutely the centerpiece in this Arizona debacle.
And he may have lost the state in November because of it. The electoral considerations represent the wafer thin silver lining in this madness. Likewise, the reproductive rights amendment that’ll be on the Florida ballot in November puts that state on the boards as well. It wouldn’t have been that way had Trump not helped to overturn Roe.
My rule applies to this and so many other things: Trump always makes things worse for Trump. Unfortunately, his misogyny has made things worse for girls, women, and doctors, too. Now, it’ll be up to voters to decide whether this madness gets reversed or continues to expand.

The Delusions Of Tulsi Gabbard
Gabbard’s claims about Joe Biden are absurd, but given the fractured media landscape, she can continue making them unchecked.
by Ben Cohen
In a recent conversation with podcaster Lex Fridman, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard claimed that the federal government has been threatening free speech at the behest of the Democratic Party.
Here’s what Gabbard had to say:
When you look at Elon Musk, for example, well you already have people in the Biden Administration, even President Biden himself implying that Elon Musk’s activities need to be investigated. Well he is someone who does business with Tesla in a lot of countries, including China, and therefore he must be investigated.
It's not at all a stretch of the imagination to say X could be the next platform that the executive branch decides cannot be allowed to exist. We've seen this already with him and X, accusations that X is interfering in our elections. Again, it's ironic that it's coming from the Democratic party.
That they're claiming that a guy who, has said that he is committed to free speech and is allowing free speech on his platform, and is not allowing the federal government to manipulate his platform by deeming which accounts are okay to post his content, and which accounts are not because of disinformation or whatever they claim it to be.
Gabbard’s censorship claim is a central tenet of Alt Left/Right theology and guides much of the movement’s activism. These claims are worth examining in detail, but more on that later.
The Alt reality
As Alt political activists see it, they are engaged in a ferocious war with Deep State liberals who are attempting to reshape the world according to the principles of Bill Gates, Kamala Harris, the World Health Organization, and now Transhumanism…

Fitting that OJ Simpson died today for two reasons. 1.) Proof that with enough celebrity and money, you can get away with murder by out-lawyering the prosecution and exhausting the appeals process. 2.) Framing a specific domestic violence case as a national referendum on centuries of police brutality and institutional racism. Sure OJ was acquitted, but did that benefit George Floyd and the thousands of victims since? As you've stated in other posts, Gaza is being framed as a battle of white imperialists versus disadvantaged people of color, ignoring centuries of nuanced, deep rooted conflict and never once mentioning how Islamic culture subjugates women and outlaws the LGBT community. And yet, it will be enraged women and LGBT activists here at home who will protest vote 3rd party in November and usher Trump back into office where unbelievable new atrocities await them.
This is what the Republicans have in mind for the entire country.
