Both are true at once. I know, seems self-contradictory. But observe how an animal in the wild reacts when cornered. This particular animal (apologies to innocent species everywhere) is lashing out by crossing new and sometimes bizarre lines every day. And it is, for now, fairly effective. But I see great desperation in all of it. Maybe just my Rorschach test.
