The Right's New Ukraine Talking Point Is A Flashing Warning Sign For America
The latest tactic is not to blame the war on Ukraine or paint Russia as the victim, but rather, claim there is no actual war at all.

It’s not exactly a secret that the right-wing lives in a complete and total information bubble. Or rather, a disinformation bubble that creates an alternate reality for the Republican base to inhabit. It is, however, helpful to occasionally take a peek under the (pointed white) hood to see just how disconnected from reality the right really is.
The latest, and easily most insane, talking point about Ukraine should be a flashing warning sign for the rest of the country.
You can’t actually prove the existence or nonexistence of mind-controlling nano-sized microchips in vaccines any more than you can prove or disprove Russell’s Teapot. Invisible world-spanning cults of blood-drinking pedophiles are also impossible to disprove which makes them perfect fodder for whatever batshit insane stories you need to tell yourself about why you can't get a job or a girlfriend.
It’s one thing to listen to them rant about tainted vaccines and global Jewish pedophile rings. It’s quite another thing, however, to pop open social media and see the right claim, in all seriousness, that the war in Ukraine is not actually happening. As in, it is a fake war. This is something that is happening now. We are way past conspiracy nutjob territory and into something much darker.
So what exactly is going on here?
Russia is losing and that’s a problem for MAGAland
