Bernie Sanders enthusiastically endorsed Joe Biden for President yesterday in an extremely friendly joint broadcast that saw the two former rivals pledge to work together to beat Donald Trump.

For most Democrats, the sight of the two rivals exchanging heartfelt pleasantries was a joy to see, particularly after the not so nice ending to the Democratic primary in 2016. Biden and Sanders clearly like each other despite their differences, and have great regard for their respective contribution to progressive politics.
