Why Are Trump’s Actions So Disconnected From Reality?

Trump and his cabal are continuously attempting to superimpose the performance art they see on Fox News onto real world actions.

Imagine waiting in an examination room at your doctor’s office when suddenly, bounding through the door, comes your doctor but instead of carrying himself like a normal physician, he’s dressed like Dr. House, MD. Worse yet, he’s unshaved and haggard, pelting you with insults while choking down a handful of opioids, just like the famous TV doctor.

Not only would you and the entire staff at the hospital become deeply concerned by your doctor’s weird, fictitious behavior, but you’d probably decide to switch doctors, someone sane, perhaps, someone tethered to reality. After getting dressed and dashing out of the hospital, you’ll quickly be followed by security guards escorting your lunatic doctor from the building.

This disconnect between the real world and the world of televised fiction isn’t merely speculative, it’s actually happening in real life, and it’s far worse than one doctor flipping his gourd.
