Why Returning To Normal After Trump Is A Terrible Idea

It’s time for America to reject the chaos and corruption of the Republican Party, find its new normal, and lay a foundation for the next half century of stability.

With just a few days left before November 3, 2020, this will be the last article I write before the last vote is cast (but certainly not before the last vote is counted). We could witness a smooth process, marred only by the typical Republican voter suppression of long lines and “misplaced” voter registrations. Or we could witness an historic outbreak of terrorism as Trump’s Brownshirts do everything within their power to disrupt the vote. We simply do not know.

I was going to list several different reasons to vote for Joe Biden and against Donald Trump but it occurred to me that if you’re reading this, the chances that you are an undecided voter are vanishingly small. 

Instead, let’s talk about “returning to normal.”
