Today we have a very special episode of The Banter Roundtable Podcast with Joe Walsh, host of "White Flag with Joe Walsh,". Joe is a former candidate for President, former Congressman, and author of the book F*ck Silence: Calling Trump Out for the Cultish, Moronic, Authoritarian Con Man He Is.

I talked to Joe today about the chaos in Congress this week, whether Kevin McCarthy has any hopes of becoming House Speaker, and what this debacle means for the Republican Party. We also discussed America’s bitter culture ways, why he turned into a militant anti-Trump activist after voting for him in 2016, and what Democrats need to do to preserve democracy in America.

It was a fascinating a fun interview where we respectfully aired our disagreements (notably on President Obama), and surprisingly agreed on much. It’s a relatively short podcast but we are scheduled for round two on his show next week to discuss alleged liberal media bias. We’ll have him back on The Banter soon too. Follow Joe on Twitter here, and subscribe to his podcast here.
