As for the Infrastructure bill, Republicans had 4 years to do something and instead gave the monster child a lighter and some hairspray. Now that the Democrats are legitimately pumping money towards infrastructure and not just having a "week" it makes the Republican look s like the inert lumps they are. Rather than try to hitch their railcar to this very big train and get some credit for, y'know, promoting the general welfare they're going to stand at the railroad crossing, fold their arms, and derisively "harumph" hoping that will stop the train. Their ideological platform only consists of obstructionist madness and kissing rings.
