So called "sensible" right wing commentators like Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro are pandering to anti-vaxxers to maintain their fanbase despite being vaccinated themselves. Why?
Having recently traveled to and from Canada, I want to jump in to say Peterson is lying. Or rather, he is excluding important details for the sake of sounding like a victim (insert fascinating study on the irony of that choice while selling himself as the leading voice against victimhood?). Being vaccinated absolutely simplifies entering Canada. Both Shapiro and Peterson are in the business of crafting of bad-faith arguments for conservatives and for that reason do not deserve to be taken seriously on any point of the political spectrum.
What a cretin! To reduce the reasonable, moral, intelligent and ethical decisions of others, whose decisions do not align with your own, to nothing but a desire for money is extremely low. But your assertion that they--those who consider the words and arguments of such men--are nothing more than blind followers, herd animals who need to be led, is your own expression of your disdain for the capacity of others while, at the same time, it bares your resentful hunger for a flock of your own.
I never took them seriously. Shapiro is a pay to play on Facebook who has hooked the algorythmn. There are a few principled conservatives who should be taken seriously. Like much of commentariat, their opinions are generally useless. No one who is as obsessed with "owning" people should ever be taken seriously. Ever. And thats both of them. Because they just two more of the agitators on the right, burning engines that go no where, but some people just want controversy, not solution or compromise.
