Your points about the vaccines, and Harris’, are right on. Science can change as more evidence comes in. It’s normal. You just have to make the best decisions given what you know at that point in time. It doesn’t mean there’s a nefarious conspiracy underlying everything.

Because to them the most important thing is believing themselves to be right. *Actually* being right is irrelevant as long as they can believe they are.
And, of course, to believe they are they have to believe others (like Harris) are wrong.
Thus they avoid the effort of any thought process. Harris is wrong as a given, no need to consider why he’s actually saying.
