On first viewing that actually struck me as him taking something that was being stated outright and trying to make it sound like a nefarious secret he’s discovered. There is no secret being made of the fact that this was “investigation by several prominent British media organizations”, yet he suggests that coordination is unknown and, being unknown, is therefore an indication of some kind of evil agenda by the investigators.
