I'm glad Joe called the Armenian Genocide a genocide. I hope this opens the door to the United States officially acknowledging and apologizing for the genocide of Native Americans (*looks at Rick Santorum*) and the enslavement of Africans. As a country we have to admit to the atrocities of our past before we can collectively heal from them.
