You can tell the MAGA base is rattled when they rush to comment here on your freemium platform -- must protect the dear leader -- without ponying up $5/month of course. Not that the mainstream media isn't helping. On 7/27, the NBC Nightly News tilted the coverage so heavily in Trump's favor, it was terrifying. Word has been buzzing Trump will only allow rally access IF the coverage is positive, and NBC's stories on the Saturday rally were absolutely glowing. Look at these two All-American Scrappy Lads making their pitch to turn a purple state red. Go get em fellas. The only mention Harris got on the broadcast was that she phoned it in by delivering a pre-taped statement to a group of young voters. While Maddow and Colbert certainly benefit from having the Trump pinata to bash nightly, in a Trump 2.0 administration, they would likely be jailed.

Interesting to note that the MAGA trolls have learned to use “coup” and “projection” as epithets. Every accusation is a confession, right? 🤔😉😊

Joe Scarborough would likely be in jail-they banned him from his own show the Monday after the shooting and his problem would’ve been more with the secret service on that date but tRump and the maga republicans have caused him to get out of the party. It’s not like msnbc to cut host off like that and when they start doing it we’re lost. I stopped watching tv news years ago because I couldn’t stomach the Trump show every day but I could read real news in the AP but I need to start watching again, msnbc and now it’s the only one I can’t get as I moved and kept only apps which all offer one of the cable news and I get network news but no MSNBC live! If anyone knows how to work this without buying an entire cable package I don’t need I’d appreciate you letting me know.

More drivel from the Neo-Jacobins who, terrified they will be punished for their crimes, hysterically project their aims and anti-democratic actions onto Republicans.

Say it with me, folks:

Every Republican accusation…

Yes! Finally I’m in. I was locked out and took a while before I knew my card needed updating. Glad to be back at this most crucial time

I’m a weird progressive liberal. I WANT a Jewish person as the VP. Not a fan of Hamas. Sorry kids.

It's quite obvious that MAGA world is more than rattled over the supposed "coronation" of Vice President Kamala Harris as the presumptive presidential nominee. They can now see the jaws of defeat waiting for them in November. And, boy, is it ever so sweet! Their candidate should now be excoriated by the mainstream press for being the old man in the race whose cognitive acuity should be held under the same microscope that Biden was subjected to. Can they do it? As you said, if they don't, the press will be severely criticized by others for being hypocritical in the matter. So let's see what happens as the race fires up very soon between the two.

As for which candidate would be a good running mate for Harris, I would put my money on the senator from Arizona, Mark Kelly. He's a true combat hero, an astronaut for 15 years, snd he's married to Gabby Giffords who survived an assassin's bullet a few years back. I don't know if the country would be ready for a Black woman and a Jewish VP, even though I would personally welcome such an eclectic combination. And I don't think the country is quite ready for a gay vice president in the form of Pete Buttigieg. We may have to wait a few more years.

Yes, well it was not decided on integrity or purposefulness. It was the selection of a political hack with very progressive left-wing, almost communist beliefs, who admires Red China and wants Red America as a virtuous goal. He is a liar on every level that would be admirable if true.

I looked this up awhile ago (in the Constitution, the US Code, and the House rules) in the context of whether incoming Representatives need to be sworn in to become “actual” Representatives (short answer: they don’t). In addition, Johnson ceases to be Speaker on Jan 3, so he’ll have no power to refuse to seat anyone. Newly-elected Representatives take office on Jan 3. Period. Possible shenanigans notwithstanding, there appears to be nothing (nothing legal, anyway) Johnson can do when we elect a Democratic majority. 🤔😉😊

Amazing self-delusion among you Democrats. But, no surprise given the hallucinatory priorities you have for governance—spend other people’s money recklessly on green nonsense while blithely and often arrogantly rejecting and ignoring societal preconditions like military preparedness, border security, energy independence, regular police protection, prosecuting criminals, especially recidivists, educational choice, etc. —-all the stuff real Americans who love their country and want to preserve their way of life demand. These are not just Republican values, they are essential to our survival.

My hesitation on Shapiro for VP is that he’s only two years into his first term as Governor, and I think it would be unfair to his supporters in PA for him to leave office at this time. Kelly, who I otherwise like, seems a bit, um, thirsty for the job. But he would help in AZ, and the astronaut buzz will help. The person I’ve seen that I think I like best (so far) is Tim Walz from MN. I think he’d do well in the VP-nominee job of attack dog. 🤔😉😊

You are right about racism. Finland where I live is the most racist country in Europe. Eastern European and probably Europe as a whole is much more racist than America in many ways.

The thing about countries like Finland is that they’ve never really seen a lot of Black people. That’s something of an exaggeration, of course, but it informs the culture, so to speak. They don’t grow their own Black people. Hell, in Iceland, everybody’s related (more or less). So Black people remain “other”. 🤔😉😊

Yup, you are right. The somalian refugees that came to Finland in the beginning of 1990 were and are still treated badly. I have older friends who still does not understand why the n- word is offensive and racist.

I also remember back in 1990 at a photo store how taken aback I was by an extremely racist remark of the somalis by the shop owner. Never set foot in the store again.

And let's not talk about our present government 🤯😣
