This is what I don’t understand. Doesn’t Musk have freakin’ companies to run? How the hell does he have time to sit on Twitter and shitpost at all hours? Where the EFF are the Board of Directors on SpaceX, Tesla and whatever the hell businesses he is involved with? JFC…if us average rubes out here sat on our phones all day instead of working, we’d be fired. What the hell.
Most of his real companies are run by intelligent professionals who have succeeded by keeping Elon distanced and distracted from day-to-day operations. His first real input with Tesla has resulted in the Cybertruck, and when he meddled with SpaceX, it ended with that gigantic penis-rocket that keeps "successfully" exploding.
This is an impressive summary and analysis of how we got to this awful point. The self-reinforcing nature of the alt-right bobbleheads and various forms of media has truly separated the United States into two populations, and reality-based and reality-adjacent is a good a description of the problem as I've seen.
The Breitbart Report definitely touches upon one of the most undiscussed areas of the human factor in the entire fiasco of the past decade as described so concisely in the following: Over the course of the election, this turned the right-wing media system into an internally coherent, relatively insulated knowledge community, reinforcing the shared worldview of readers and shielding them from journalism that challenged it. "
For me and what I will be referring to in my own writings is the reality of an "insulated knowledge community" this fits right in with my thinking from an epistemological perspective.
Indeed MAGA has many qualities that qualify them as a cult, of that it is clear. My primary focus with regard to epistemology is best explained by Dr. Gabriel Hudson a political scientist. I have excerpted an important section from one of his freely available papers and published it with minor commentary in one of my newsletter postings. The title and a link to it follow here if you elect to take some time to read it I am confident that you will find yourself perhaps pleasantly enlightened after reading it, and I am also curious as to what your perspective is on Dr. Hudson's elaborations: "Religious Knowledge Creation versus Scientific Knowledge Construction: An Excerpt from an expert on Christodemocracy; with commentary by RJREI"
…while democrats were standing by with their mouth opened and now they think by putting another democrat in WH will do the job to correct it by doing business as usual

Thanks Michal, appreciate the kind words!

I think you could also call it a cult.
