AOC had it right when she told Cruz regarding the Game Stop stock incident, "Three weeks ago you tried to have me killed; so you can sit this one out". Unity will not be found with people that want to do harm to their colleagues and by extension their constituents or overthrow democracy. They can't be met halfway.
Republicans ABSOLUTELY have to be called on their shit. Clearly, directly, and without even a hint of not calling it what it is.
They cannot, CANNOT, be allowed to pretend they aren't what they are. Even more importantly, the Democrats cannot, CANNOT, pretend the Republicans aren't what they are.
When there is a monster in the room trying to kill you, you don't ignore what it's doing out of some deranged belief that maybe, if you just don't point out how it keeps trying to rip out your throat, it will be your friend.
