Republicans now admit right out loud that they rely on using voter suppression to win. Such a cynical, anti-democratic approach should embarrass them, but we see now that they're beyond that.
Actually the GOP wants old white voters to be able to vote. It is young college students, minorities, the infirmed, and the disabled whose right to vote is affected by the many GOP voter restriction laws being passed.
Great post again. I can't recall which northwestern state this happened in but there were letters between state GOP party officials where there was knashing about mail-in votes during a special election that would happen during the winter (Montana?) and where voting access in rural towns might be limited, no funds available to run a state election, but the complaint was that if mail voting was allowed the GOP could not possibly win, and they wanted to win by not letting everyone vote. They KNOW they are not popular and yet still want to control all 3 branches of gvmt and everything you do at home and in the Drs office, and take your money for zero ROI, that should be the clue for people. There's no way you would tolerate that guy in your high school, why would you volunteer your gmvt to these chuckleheads?
Are these cases still in a period where they can be dismissed? It seems a no-brainer because if I contend a single election day is called for, this would nullify not only those late votes, but also early voting (I think the benefits there do not really favor either party). For any mail votes, it would need to be same-day mail (not even overnight). This would lead to a challenge because, unless provided for free, I imagine postage would be expensive. It all leads to the plain meaning, that everyone must vote, in-person, on election day. This arrangement historically HAS favored one party. Thus, the case should be tossed.

Hard to be shamed when you have no integrity to begin with

This sounds like something that originalist jurists might be interested in re-re-revisiting again.
