I watched her thing with the hostage sister. She tried to trap her into blaming Netanyahu for her sisters situation. But the sister was prepared and never touched that issue. Kidnapping was what Hamas did. I think Gray was frustrated. She’s a smooth talker.

Now the issue in the debate (I only saw the clip) when she decries Israel as an ethno state and then says Hamas wants a state like the US - that was truly hilarious. Idiotic words strung together and coming out of her mouth.

She’s a venal antiSemitic bitch.

As a leftoid, she believes that the USA is the most evil country ever to exist. Maybe that's what she meant by "Hamas wants a state like the US"

I mean, she’s a tankie through and through. She hates the West and everything it stands for. She would rather back illiberal, autocratic regimes in the name of tearing apart the Pax Americana than celebrate domestic policy wins that ostensibly should be things she wants to see happen.

She’s basically hipster MTG.

I don’t think this has anything to do with her being a purist or anything like that. She thought going into SC/Super Tuesday she was the future and then in a matter of days that future ended. She decided the best thing for her was to go hipster MAGA and promote herself. I don’t get any sense she cares anything more about say working class people or Palestinians than Republicans care about the unborn. She’s bad faith through and through. (For the record I’ve been strongly on the Palestinian side since the Beirut massacre so I’m hardly a Netanyahu supporter.)

Yeah, the Palestinian side has really rewarded all the people who believed in them. Terrorism after terrorism after terrorism. Repaying land for peace with more terrorism. Attacking the biggest concentration of peace activists in Israel with rape, torture, massacre and abduction. Briahna Joy Gray is a shameless anti-Jewish racist. Progressives? They’re the dumbest useful idiots in the history of the world. At this point “ceasefire now” requires erasing the memory of Hamas and Hezbollah to appease the cognitive dissonance of what “Palestinian liberation” means to most Palestinians- a genocide and ethnic cleansing of 7 million Jews.

It’s kind of hard to make a good case for Netanyahu and company at this point, and this is something going back at least 40+ years. There is a difference between Hamas and the rest of the Palestinian people.

Hamas is horrible and what they did was terrible but it’s not like Israel was wonderful on 6 October.

Half of Israel was against Netanyahu on October 6, and post October 7 he has abysmal polling, so you’ll have to give up your favorite boogeyman. At the same time, it’s absurd for you to claim Hamas aren’t the Palestinians. They’re not Al Qaeda - their ranks both military and ‘civilian’ are 100% Palestinian. The absolute majority of Palestinians in Hamastan Gaza and Judea and Samaria support Hamas and their atrocities. An even bigger percent of the Palestinian diaspora are Hamas supporters. Your bothsides requires so much self-delusion it’s pretty funny. You’re married to the illusion that Palestinians want peace, and you won’t stop the mental gymnastics to hold onto that. How hard do you need to imagine away Hamas to ease your cognitive dissonance?

lol your bogeyman line is frankly silly but then again you are a silly person.

Hamas polled very poorly before the October attacks and there is little reason to think there was as much support for Hamas before the 7 Oct attack as there was for Netanyahu.

The hard right in Israel has aggressively gone after the Palestinians for decades. Israel has burned up whatever good will it had in most of the world by its scorched earth tactics.

I am appalled by Hamas but it’s really hard to feel any better about Netanyahu and company.

This is dead on. Like so many of the ultra “progressive” left she doesn’t actually care about getting policies passed that help people or having serious dialogue about… well.. anything. Just another attention seeking purity evangelist. Sad.

This is my frustration with much of the “progressive” left. (AOC is a remarkably pragmatic and shrewd exception.). Biden has governed as the most leftist president since at least LBJ, if not FDR, and has paid a price (this is why the billionaire class is lining up behind Trump, who they mostly view with contempt). His reward has been the left mostly spitting in his face and calling him “Genocide Joe.” They’re broadcasting to all politicians: don’t bother supporting our causes, you’ll never be pure enough for us. And of course this only helps Trump and the RW. Trump of course would be a catastrophe for progressive policies. Really stupid as well as dishonorable, and a betrayal of all the people who need the left’s help.

She’s a D.E.I. mediocrity who banked her career on antisemitism. Even if one ignores the immorality of that, it’s just stupid. Her behavior since her (indisputably justified) firing proves that. And it also proves she was never qualified for the job she had, to begin with. She didn’t earn it. It was given to her. It was a handout to fill a quota.

What exactly has Gray done to promote any cause other than Gray?

She worked as the campaign spokesperson for the Bernie campaign. A self promoting far left shit working for a self promoting far left shit.

Bernie is fine and has definitely moved on from 2020. None of that is true about Gray.

Every person who worked on that narcissists campaign are Hamas loving sociopaths, and in general grifters of the worst kind. Bernie is a self-promoting fool who had no right to run in the primaries of a party he refused to join for decades. Okay he isn’t.

I have mixed feelings about Bernie, but I think he did learn from 2016 and has been a much more positive force since then.

Speaking as someone who voted for HRC in the SC primary and Biden in the SC primary so hardly a Bernie bro I think he made in 2016 the same mistake RBG and many Dems made after Obama won in 2012, that thanks to demographics and other things the Dems had a lock on the electoral college similar to the one republicans had in the House during the same period. They thought the real fight was in the Democratic primaries not the general election.

Bernie adjusted and got how serious the Trump threat was. Even though he continued pushing a lot of the same policies he did in 2016 he held back in going after other democrats in 2020 much to the chagrin of chaos climbers like Gray and David Sirota (many of whom turned on Bernie when he dropped out much sooner than he needed to)

Bernie has been fine since 2020, his problems have come more from “centrist” democrats like Dean Phillips or Sinema.

People need to move past 2016. What’s done is done.

Bernie himself did damage to the left by running twice, and now that he’s a million years old he’s warned about his pro Hamas adherents going against Biden. Too late, the damage is done. The far left helped Nixon get elected in 1968 and 1972, Bush II elected in 2000, and Trump elected in 2016. Progressives mainly like being a whiney, useless, self-righteous opposition, rather than people who can build coalitions and govern. This all makes sense and fits a pattern. Progressives don’t want progress, they want to virtue signal.

Humm.. I suspect that military history, wether right nor wrong isn’t this silly woman Gray’s strong point. All military conflicts have horrific events regardless of the righteous of said wars. Her rolling of the eyes, her dismissiveness of this war victim’s sister, is at its ‘heart’—revolting.

As far as I know, Gray's a complete unknown in Britain. In view of her denial of the 7th October atrocities, I hope she stays that way.

"Gray used the platform not to debate, but to lecture"

The Far-Left (& Far-Right, which leftists like Gray increasingly resemble) in a nutshell.

In the video clip, she talks over the Israeli woman being interviewed, showing appalling arrogance as well as a chilling lack of empathy. I don't know ANYONE who would treat a hostage's family member like this - at least, I hope I don't.

It is this twin disregard for both objective truth & human suffering that fuels support for tyranny & slaughter.

That & the complete absence of self-reflection, that makes such behaviour possible, their unshakeable conviction that evil is something only other people do.
