What a great story, Justin!

My granddaughter was just diagnosed with autism this week, at age 3 1/2. I've read your posts about Jordan as he's been growing up and learning to navigate and enjoy the world on his own terms. My son and daughter-in-law arr great parents and I think they will do very well raising her too. Thank you so much!

My best wishes to them and tell them that there is no such thing as "too much" when it comes to early intervention and government services, especially at such a young age. Never, for one second, feel guilty about applying for every possible available kind of aid. A day of therapy as a kid is worth weeks or months as a teen or an adult.

I completely agree, and we will definitely pursue all the available assistance. My mother is a retired public school teacher and still knows most of those programs.

Montreal bagels would like a word with you. The center of the culinary universe is NOT NYC.
