First of all, I’m glad that you’re doing better!

Second, and unlike you, I am extremely worried that Trump will win in November of next year.

Me too - and that is because I know for sure they are plotting some new strategy to accomplish that. I have no clue what they might do, but I hope they are being carefully watched because we certainly cannot trust them ! They have now shown us who they are - believe them - they mean it !

Ben, I'm very happy to hear that you're doing better. In addition, I share your dumbfounded attitude over the more positive poll numbers of a menace to democracy that I call the Orange Hemorrhoid in my little blog. I can't believe how stupid and forgetful Americans are toward their political leaders. And despite Biden's age, people do not realize how much he's done for this country in just three years. Would voters rather elect a former president who was impeached twice, been deemed a sexual predator, and, in addition, has accumulated 91 criminal charges against him. There should be no contest between him and Biden in a sane age, but this is no sane age, thanks to this corrupter of truth!

So please stay healthy in the coming year. We need your reporting, plus everyone else's as well. Happy New Year, Banter podcasters! May 2024 be the era of accountability for a former television personality! Let this country prove wrong Ian's prediction for 2024.

So glad to hear you're feeling better!

And almost equally glad to know The Banter will continue to be providing an island of sanity and information in the coming year. (Never doubted it, but still a relief in these insane times to be reassured.)

Remember, Gary Hart couldn’t run for president because he had an affair on a boat, ahh those halcyon days

And Howard Dean screamed wrong!

(Gods, I've seen that moment I don't know how many times and I still cannot fathom how anyone looked at it a thought "Nope, that's disqualifying.")

Deep sympathies for you regarding your illness. Thank you for writing about it so effectively. I’ve had my own bad illness in recent years so feel some strong solidarity. ✊ Glad you are getting better, I am too. ✌️

Thank you for the update! Love listening to your podcast every Sunday - but I’m not alone in saying I miss Cesca. Are there any plans on him returning? If not, I hope you add a third person - maybe a woman - because three truly is the magic number for the format you have.

So happy you are on the other side of this. We are buckling up for a contentious year, but your work has always been a blessing for us, and I look forward to more of it.

Did you get checked for blood loss? Like in your GI tract? I’m a physician (pediatrics) but in adults I’d be very concerned about missing occult blood loss from bad stuff.

Yes, two FOBT tests, xrays, urine, etc etc. Nothing.

👍👍👍 I know my comment was kind of personal but you never know about medical care... heath care providers can miss stuff that’s really important.

Ok that’s the lingo. Just means blood not otherwise noticed.

Would Bob ever re-join the podcast? I really enjoyed the addition of his perspective.
