This kind of example definitely helps I’m trying to explain to people their choice between Trump and anybody else. It helps by moving things out of the knee-jerk reaction people have to Trump.
That doesn’t mean asking that question of a MAGA hat wearing moron will actually get them to change their view. But at least gives it the scintilla of a chance of having something dawn in them as to how bad Trump is.
Are you really a progressive if you can be "tricked" into voting for Donald Trump? I mean, you should be angry about these allegations, but if they lead you into voting for someone who is an even bigger rapist, was it really the rape allegation that made you decide to vote for Donald instead?
The thing that has to be made clear to the selfish (and pure selfishness is what it is) independents and faux progressives who believe themselves too morally pure vote for Biden because somebody somewhere once accused him of something unsavory, is that a failure to vote for Biden is in effect and in reality a vote FOR Trump.
It’s not just choosing not to vote for Biden. It is actively and intentionally deciding to have Trump in office for another four years. They are supporters of Trump. If they do not a vote for the only other viable candidate, THEN THEY ARE VOTING ***FOR*** Trump. Period.
And if he wins, they don’t get to hide behind any supposedly superior moral high ground by saying “Well, *I* didn’t vote for Trump.” Because no, that is EXACTLY what they did do.
There is no middle ground. There is no third choice. The only choice they have is voting against Trump or for him. A vote for a Stein or a Sanders or anybody other than Biden is a vote FOR Trump. The truth that should be rubbed in the face of anybody who talks about voting for anybody other than Biden.
