Trust me…Big Gretch can’t stand him, but she needs to protect her constituents. He won Michigan.

“Big Gretch” needs to stand up to him and use what power she currently has or she’s going to be in a gulag in S. America soon.

NOBODY can stand him - he is universally loathed - even by the folks that are "on his side" - they support him only because he is doing a few things they actually approve of - but it's not a love of trump himself as they all know perfectly well he is dangerous & largely stupid & crazy, so just doing 'what they need to do' to get where they want to be !

It's curious how ordinarily astute politicians have, in the Trump era, suddenly lost any sense of which way the wind is blowing. But I've heard it said that a person's ability to understand a problem depends on whether they benefit financially from the status quo.

Why? Maybe because not everyone is an anarchist that believes destroying what little is left of a functioning government serves the country. Maybe, just maybe, we NEED an ambassador to China given we are in the middle of a fucking trade war. Maybe we don’t all want to be the Dem version of J6ers.

Just love that black/white thinking. “You are either for us or against us!”

There is no choice to be made. If you still support Donald Trump you want anti-democratic authoritarian rule. If you want a functioning democratic republic you are necessarily opposed to Trump. The government is most certainly not “functioning.”

The mayor of Munich beat Cologne in bidding for a concentration camp, so his cuddling up to Hitler is forgivable.

I think we're in an era where poll numbers no longer matter. Trump has Congress, SCOTUS, and a media bubble protecting him, along with the US Marshalls who will not enforce any court ruling against him, including from SCOTUS. So why would he care? Between US v. Trump, Citizens United, and whatever court rulings struck down the Newspaper/Broadcast Cross-Ownership Rule, the Radio-Television Cross-Ownership Rule, and the Local Television Ownership Rule, etc, not to mention gerrymandered districting, allowing unfiltered lies in political ads, systemic racism, for profit prisons, and unrestrained presidential pardon privileges -- the guardrails are off and I'm doubtful anything can right it. While a French Revolution style uprising would do the trick, ask yourself, whose supporters are more heavily armed?
