Why Trump's Criminal Trial Is Making The Alt-Left See Red
It is stunningly clear that everything the alt-left does is designed to undermine Democrats and boost Republicans.

It’s been a couple of weeks since Trump was charged with 34 felonies in New York and Bob Cesca is still gleefully wallowing in Trump’s misery. Republicans and their entire right-wing propaganda machine, of course, are still railing at the unfairness of it all. So many pearls to clutch, so little time!
It’s no surprise that the right is weeping bloody tears. Their cult leader is facing accountability for the first time in his life and if it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone! (that is the point of the rule of law of course). However, it has been very interesting watching the “progressive” alt-left lose their minds at the same time. Remember, the alt-left claims not to support Trump in any way whatsoever. They should be pleased that the rich and powerful are finally facing justice. It’s what they say they believe.
But instead, they appear to be furious that Trump was indicted. What is going on here?
How mad is the alt-left?
If you’ve been paying attention to the alt-left, their rage at Trump’s arrest is the single least surprising development since the last time a Republican was busted being a pedophile. No, not that one. The other one. Or maybe it was this one. Or that one. Or maybe one of the other hundred or so in the last year or so. Whatever. The alt-left freaking out over Trump’s arrest was entirely predictable is what I’m saying.
Naturally, when charges were finally brought against Trump, the alt-left declared that it was a complete and total perversion of justice and a very very Bad Idea. For example, Matt Taibbi is pretty sure holding people who try to overthrow the government accountable for any crime they commit is how you end up with people trying to overthrow the government. The Ouroboros logic of bullshit is flawless:
