Wisconsin’s neighbor Michigan is an encouraging example of how quickly things can change when the GOP (or dems) are not allowed to gerrymander. They held the executive branch and flipped both state houses in 22 midterms. The districts were redrawn by a citizen committee after the 2020 census. This happened because of a ballot initiative in 2018. We must always remember there are more of us than them ✊
In an unrelated story, Republicans have been fighting tooth and nail to end ballot initiatives in states they control and to have non-partisan redistricting committees declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
There is, of course, no relation to what happened in Michigan. None at all.
West Virginia, South Caroline, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi can we let them form there own country so we can stop supporting them until they can think.
